Browsing as used here is the viewing of items for sale. It can be in the form of auctions, swap meets and flea markets, garage sales, looking at classified ads, catalogs and going to retail stores. You may enjoy the sights and experiences that such events and places offer. You can people watch and perhaps chit chat with interesting characters.

To find out about auctions in your area look in newspaper classified ads under auctions or call the auctioneers listed in the telephone yellow pages. You may also check with the local public administrator of estate property, Internal Revenue Service, Police Department, U.S. Customs Office and Postal Service.

Before attending an auction be sure you understand the policies and purchase procedures.
