None of your finger prints are the same as any other person's
finger prints. The FBI and police use finger prints to identify
criminals and missing persons. One way to see your finger
prints is to look at your fingers with a magnifying glass. A
7X magnifier is about right.
You can make a record of your
finger prints by placing a finger on an ink pad and then onto
a piece of plain white paper. Another way is to first rub a
piece of paper with the side of the lead tip of a pencil.
Darken an area slightly larger than the finger print will be. Rub
your finger on the darkened area. Then press your finger onto
the sticky side of a piece of clear tape. Stick the tape to a
piece of white paper. If you have a scrap book or diary you
could put your finger print there. Label the finger print to
indicate which finger the print is from.
